if it were in the cards that everyone could have a turn then we’d all be right shite fucked, i think. it’s all a matter of perspective, even though i’m rather sure mine has been in the wayward winds for quite some time. I still think of the all the time wasted while mucking around with the paltry details of andy laying brickwork where none was needed. But this is the sort of thing that happens all the damn time if you’re not careful. One minute you’re contemplating the idiocy of man, the next you have a bill in your hand for a mosaic bathtub made entirely of glass marbles that you never conceived of or even wanted (though, of course, in retrospect, you’ll secretly enjoy it and not fight too hard to greet any recompense or give any argument to remove it.).
The point being this:
if you stare hard enough at any given object, it’s more than likely said object will believe your stare and act accordingly. And if this is not the case, you are always free to ignore it and just go about your existence, only to wonder much later if maybe you should’ve stayed.
